Guatemala has emerged in the headlines of newspapers world wide recently; dramatic images of giant sinkholes and ash from a volcano covering Guatemala City make for dramatic imagery. Businesses, neighborhoods and families have been greatly affected by these natural disasters; but there is another disaster that effects thousands of children daily in Guatemala.
